Participation
Band participation is voluntary but highly encouraged. The band performs at opening and closing ceremonies, daily flag ceremonies, and select assemblies throughout the week.
Prepare
Band
The Arizona Boys State Band adds tradition and ceremony to the program week. Delegates with musical experience are encouraged to participate.
Instruments
Delegates should bring their own instruments. Limited school instruments may be available upon request. Contact the band director before arrival to arrange instrument storage.
Rehearsal Schedule
Band rehearsals are typically held early morning (6:30-7:30 AM) and during designated afternoon blocks. The full rehearsal schedule will be distributed at check-in.
Music
Sheet music for patriotic selections and ceremonial pieces will be provided during the first rehearsal. Delegates are encouraged to review standard march repertoire beforehand.
